Bub and Bailey

Bubby and Bailey are Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Bubby's previous owner put him on craigslist when he was two years old. He has been with us since March 29, 2011. We use this date as his birthday since we don't know the actual date. Bailey was born February 19, 2013.

It’s nap time.

Nice spring walk.

The snow is finally over!

Here’s some more old pictures. Bailey lost an ice cube under the cabinets and was determined to get it out.

Snoozing Bailey.

It’s Bailey’s gotcha day!
Last year we went on a three hour trip to Tennessee in a torrential downpour. It was terrible. A car spun out of control right in front of us.
When we arrived there was no rain in sight, the sun was out, and there were corgis everywhere! We were the first to pick up a puppy, so we got to see all of Bailey’s litter mates.
The drive home went a lot smoother… except I had to sit in pee soaked pants for three hours because Bailey had peed on me shortly after we left the breeders’.

We found out that I was pregnant a week after we sent the puppy deposit. We debated on whether or not we should ask for the deposit back and wait to get a new puppy. I’m so glad we decided to go ahead and get Bailey. She’s been such wonderful addition to the family. She’s a good source of laughs and cuddles, a great playmate for Bub, and a good big sister to Camille. I can’t imagine life without her.

"Hey mom, whatcha doin?"

I haven’t taken many new pictures lately, so here is an old one.

Camille was crying earlier and nothing I was doing helped. Guess who got her to stop crying and even laugh a little… Bailey.
I’m pretty sure her first word will be Bub or Bailey. She “talks” to them more than she talks to people and has started making a B sound when she talks to them. And she gets the biggest smile on her face when she first sees them in the morning. We definitely have a little corgi lover.
